«©NCSX» Life is good for Maximo who lords over a prosperous kingdom with a beautiful Queen by his side. A jealous advisor named Achille decides that Max has it too good and decides to raise an undead army to take over the kingdom. To add insult to injury, he kills Maximo and sends him to the underworld.
While traipsing around the land of the dead, Maximo encounters Death who complains that Achille has taken away his legions of souls. The two conspire to take back their respective stations with Maximo acting as hatchet-man.
Maximo rages across a 3D landscape while hacking away at skeletal warriors and other creatures. The game is based on the Ghosts 'n Goblins classic from the 80s.
