NCS Product Synopsis - Updated: June 8, 2007
«©NCSX» Taking a bath generally involves bubbles, a scrubber of some sort, and thou. However, if you want to spice things up, throw an Aqua Rain into the mix and introduce a geyser of LED-lit water into your bathing ritual.

Shaped like a smoke detector but buoyant, the Aqua Rain product floats on the surface of your bathtub and shoots out beams of colored light for the first visual effect. A powerhead on the bottom of the device sucks water in and blows it out the top in streams of liquid for the second effect. Now, with the water flowing and the lights blazing, the effect is rather hypnotic and perhaps even magical as the water scatters upwards and cascades down as the LEDs light up the droplets. Two fountain patterns are selectable - a lazy radial spray or tight water jets that are ejected more forcefully. Three LEDs located on the top of the AquaRain are capable of shining out seven different colors for nifty illumination effects. A video of the streaming water may be viewed on the manufacturer's website.

Getting Started
1) After removing the AquaRain from its carton, snap it open by twisting the two hemispheres in opposite directions.
2) Insert four AA batteries into the four battery compartments. Remember to snap back the battery lids after you're done.
3) Snap the two hemispheres of the AquaRain back together, making sure there's satisfying click sound once the wedges are lined up.
4) Place the AquaRain in your bathtub or pool and push the power button on the top of the AquaRain.
5) It'll immediately start sucking water from the bottom receptacle and force it upwards through the ports on the top of the AquaRain.
5) To adjust the way the water streams upwards, move the mode wheel on the top of the AquaRain to change from a concentrated stream to a more lazy splatter array.
