King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2 Gashapon Series 2

«©NCSX» The femme fatales from King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2 bare their souls in Yujin's gashapon collection. The gals featured in the set are as follows (From left to right in the group photo): Athena Asamiya, Ninon Beart, Lily Kane, Kula Diamond, Mai Shiranui, and B. Jenny. The figures measure approximately 4" tall and are constructed from parts that are bolted and plugged together. The quality is surprisingly good given the low price point of gashapon toys and the girls wear detailed clothing and have faces that are painted on perfectly.

Construction Notes
» Kula Diamond
Her assembly is slightly tricky because her torso connector to the legs is a ball joint that moves. Shove it in the wrong way and the joint shifts to the side.

» Lily Kane
Her overalls are removable to show her dainties inside and her staff is a 3-segment weapon that is assembled by way of plug-in action. Her right hand is positioned and molded so that the staff slides into her hand and is gripped tightly. Her left hand is shaped so that it hooks onto the side of her overalls.

» Ninon Beart
9 pieces to put together with flanges for her outfit which plug into the arm pieces. Ninon' face paint is particularly well done.

» B. Jenny
Blond bombshell with big boobs that are barely covered by spaghetti straps. Tricky assembly with her left thumb which plugs into her dress-like covering. She also has two bracelets which may be hung from her wrists or arms.

» Mai Shiranui
Fairly simple to put together and the red/white contraption behind her is made of two different segments.

» Athena Asamiya
Wears red glasses and is dressed in a schoolgirl outfit of sorts with vest over a blue checkerboard skirt. Athena is another simple figure to assemble with no complicated twists or turns.

The figures are detailed and nicely sculpted. The girl's faces are beautifully painted with clear eyes and non-smudge appearances. For voyeurs, the clothing of the girls may be removed to view their undergarments if one so desires.
