«©NCSX» Confectionary manufacturer Lotte once sold and is selling Super Bikkurimanpeanut and chocolate waffle candies which include a little sticker inside every individually wrapped piece. The stickers are sort of collectible and ignited a firestorm of merchandising back in the day which broke into manga, animation, foodstuffs, and video games.
Nippon Ichi is latching onto some of that old time magic by producing a new video game where colorful characters use Super Bikkuriman stickers imprinted with kanji characters to do battle. By stringing together kanji to create new words, players may launch devastating attacks which may be considered combos. Get it? Combos. In addition to original characters, a roster of heroes from Nippon Ichi's Disgaea games also make an appearance in the kanji interaction.
