NCS Product Synopsis
Update: January 6, 2005
«©NCSX» An up 'n coming archaeologist (who just happens to be a possum) by the name of Patrick receives a mysterious book from his uncle...who has strangely disappeared. The book contains notes on strange and heretofore unseen fish which are rumored to inhabit the waters near an ancient, sunken, civilization. Inspired by the discovery, Pat heads off on an adventure of fishing for fishes that the world has never seen before and maybe find his uncle along the way. The game features exotic and beautiful fish with bright, shiny colors to them. Even the goldfish appear overly iridescent. Green/blue and bright hues on fishes which range the spectrum from strangely colored bass and groupers to exotics such as the deep sea angler fish with the lighted lure above its head which it uses to catch smaller fish itself.

The wrinkle in the fishing portion of the game is the construction of special lures which may be used to catch specific fishes. Some lures are able to catch a variety of fishes but special swimmers require specially designed baiters. There's one lure which looks like a miniature shark with an evil grin and many others which are based on insect morphology.
