«©NCSX» To be called Group S Challenge in the USA when it is released later in the year, rocket racers may thrill to the street racing challenge found in Circus Drive. Capcom offers up 47 car models from Japanese, European and American manufacturers with the ability to upgrade parts, colors and customize vehicles to a tee. Companies represented include:
ENGLAND - Lotus, TVR
FRANCE - Renault
GERMANY - Audi, RUF
JAPAN - Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota
USA - Chevrolet, Ford
Some choice rides include the Mustang SVT Cobra-R, NSX Type S Zero, RUF CRT2, Silvia Spec-R, Supra RZ, TT Coupe 1.8 Turbo.
Racing venues and tracks from around the world are featured in the game including hot spots from Australia, Monaco and Tokyo.
An arcade mode in the game allows for single player, 2-player, time attack racing and omake racing challenges while a circuit mode allows racers to compete in tourneys to reach the echelons of their trade. These would be the top level crew of challengers known as Group S. Winning races earns cash with which to purchase parts and new cars to improve your competitive ability.
