NCS Product Synopsis
Update: June 8, 2006
«©NCSX» Jam with the strangest axe-handler this side of Japan as he rages across 10 stages of musical mayhem with tracks from the band Coil. Using nothing but a powerful electric guitar and godlike skills, Gitaroo Man defends the planet against alien invaders known as the Gravillians who seek nothing less than universal domination.

The protagonist in Gitaroo Man is U-1, a droopy drip of a bloke who can't even stabilize himself on a stationary skateboard. U-1 is a sniveling cur who clenches his teeth and shakes when adversity mounts. Destined to become a bitter hermit, the Fates intervene when the Gitaroo enters his bleak existence. From zero to hero in the blink of an eye, U-1 transforms into a rampaging guitar handler as long as the almighty Gitaroo is in hand. Confident and surly, the teeth-gnashing Gitaroo Man tackles the invading Gravillians with fearless aplomb.

Originally released on the PS2 in June of 2001, the PSP version of Gitaroo Man features the same game play as the original. New to the PSP version are wireless multi-player options where two players may compete against each other or cooperate against a Gravillian boss. A new Jukebox mode allows a player to listen to 13 songs featured in the game. The Gallery Mode and Theater Mode from the original game are retained for viewing character artwork and cinemas.
