NCS Product Synopsis
Update: June 26, 2003

«©NCSX» The young prince of the Almamoon Kingdom has successfully defended his sovereignty over the course of two games, despite his lack of military skills and questionable leadership abilities. As the third Hanjuku Hero begins, the 2-D Almamoon Kingdom slips into a 3-D netherworld where the prince finds himself beset by new armies.
Tribes of 2-D warriors belonging to Almamoon and 3-D armies clash and bout it out in frenetic arenas of battle. In addition to normal blows and artillery fire, armies may call upon so-called Egg Heroes to turn the tide of battle. A large variety of Egg Heroes may be summoned who do battle with different powers and damage effects. Skirmishes move at a quick pace with the outcome of battles normally resolved within a minute or two. Fairly fascinating to watch, opposing forces clash and the mass of warriors drift around the screen as members of both armies are killed off. In the midway of battle, the numbers of one side can be seen to dwindle and in a surge of bloodthirst, the opposing side wrecks the remaining members of the dying party and grabs victory.

Tatsunoko Productions of Gacchaman and Tekkaman Blade fame serve up a number of animated cut scenes which move the story along.
