«©NCSX» When what appears to be junkmail arrives one day, you disregard it...until a strange girl named Maya shows up at your door and proceeds to take a sample of your DNA. After poring over the letter and realizing that you have the same name as the intended recipient, you attempt to back out of the tournament but rules are rules. Since your DNA has been taken already and your name is the same, you are automatically transported to a new dimension to take part in a card competition against other dimensional travellers.
Due to Maya's mistake, she volunteers to teach you the ways of the game and other personalities such as a card shop owner and other players eventually help you get acquainted with the rules of engagement. 200 different types of cards are available to build your deck and special cards may be purchased or won during the course of the game.
Each copy of Kami no Kijutsu includes a foil-wrapped packet of cards inside the cartridge package.
