NCS Product Synopsis
Update: March 30, 2006
«©NCSX» Hideo Kageyama is the principal at Ritsumeikan elementary school in Hiroshima Prefecture who developed a method of learning through repetition known as Hyaku Masu Keisan (Hundred Square Calculations). Helpful for teaching children their arithmetic skills, the exercises have also been used for adults to keep their minds at the top of their game. In Hyaku Masu Keisan, the paper consists of a 10 x 10 grid with numbers on the top row and leftmost column of the grid. By using the numbers, calculations may be performed for addition, subtraction, and multiplication

Step inside a virtual classroom and learn how to solve various brain trainers as well as test your intelligence quotient by taking 30-question tests. The exercises are designed to measure cognitive ability as well as memory skills with language, shapes, numbers, and combinations thereof. Nine types of training exercises are featured in the software which offer different ways to measure intelligence. Up to four test takers may store their scores and keep track of their progress as they hone their minds. Multiple players may also compete against each other in brain exercises by linking up wirelessly.
