«©NCSX» In a kingdom far, far away, there lives a girl named Hibana. She takes care of her younger brother Taro. Many years ago, their parents went missing and Hibana adopted the role of mother figure to Taro. One day, a magical creature called Pengel enters their lives and starts them on a journey of graffiti, scribbling, doodling, otherwise known as rakugaki. With Pengel (That's Pen Gel, magical ink) and it's special sauce, players may doodle a drawing of anything imaginable.
Draw an apple-head man with spiky hair or a Seaman-like creature with cornrows onto the onscreen easel and it will come to life. Nothing is too weird or otherworldly for rakugaki. The game then takes your scrawled design and transforms it into an animated 3-D simulacrum which moves, rotates and most importantly, it fights for you. In the Kingdom of Scribbling, the people hold matches between different rakugaki creatures. With your creation, you are able to fight against other monstrously strange creatures and win experience points with each successful match. As more contests are won, you may level up your creature by adding artistic touches to it.
