«©NCSX» Civilian turned master mech handler, Amuro Ray takes up the gun and guides the Gundam on the side of the Earth Federation in a game that tells the story of the One Year War. Battles are fought on Earth and in space where Ray dashes to and fro, steps onto bulky cruisers for close encounters, and fights in fast-paced battles with both sword and gun.
The game is also known as Kidou Senshi Gundam: Ichinen Sensou.

IGN Synopsis
Officially titled Kidou Senshi Gundam: Ichi Nen Sensou, this Namco/Bandai collaboration follows the story of the 1979 Gundam cartoon. Players work through missions as main character Amro Ray. The game has three types of mission. Ground-based missions allow you to jump, dash, use buildings for cover and even take the fight under water. Space-based missions give you more freedom of movement. While on space missions, it's possible to land and walk on ships as if fighting in ground combat. The third type of mission is a bit different from what we've come to expect in a Gundam game. Players take control of non Gundam equipment during these missions, such as gun turrets and other weaponry.
