«©NCSX» On a somber colonized planet with dust clouds billowing, Vanessa makes her entrance in a stylized tribute to the Terminator movies. After the sphere of teleportation residue dissipates, our spread-eagled heroine rises and immediately begins bopping to the background music. In the distance, two speeding cruisers hone in on Vanessa's location and stop short of her position. A few tenuous seconds pass and the first salvo from one of the cruisers whizzes by her head and explodes in the background. Vanessa's still bopping. The next shot from the cruisers are dead-on but she's already flipping (without wirework) and dancing as she lands. With a pirouette and a masterfully choreographed flip, more shots are avoided and the cruisers decide to rush in for the kill. A spin, a charge-up and a single blast from Vanessa destroys both cruisers in a firestorm of cinders and sparks.
As the game begins, players choreograph Vanessa in similar style by shooting at enemy armor inside a multi-level installation. Each foe requires a few shots to dispatch and it's the player's prerogative to shoot stylishly and with combination-laced grace. Spin, flip and shoot with Vanessa's inner ballerina. Watch the fingers on her other hand when she's firing with her-gun hand and see that this girl has rhythm coursing through her entire body. Style points may be used to upgrade suits with more firepower and armor. Fashionistas may also purchase new and flavorful suits to drape onto Vanessa's wonderfully fit form.
