Updated player stats, true to life uniforms and authentic virtual replicas of team stadium help to buffer the baseball experience. A refined pitching system allows for the easy throwing of curve balls, speed balls and the occasional fork ball. Throw too many speed balls and player stamina gradually diminishes but mix it up and your man may have a chance at going for 7 innings. Similarly, batting takes into account the position of the bat and attendant follow through as the player swings at a pitch. A swing at a high pitch may lead to a pop-up while a powerful whack at a pitch down the middle may likely lead to a homer. Smack one into the seats and watch as special displays ignite on the scoreboard. Finally, when the home team wins a game, expect fireworks, cheers and other frivolity as the stadium erupts into jubilation.
