NCS Product Synopsis
Update: November 19, 2009
«©NCSX» The Taiko no Tatsujin games were once a Playstation 2 staple but since Sony's previous-generation console has faded, the popular Nintendo Wii has become the platform of choice for the latest renditions of the Taiko series. Taiko no Tatsujin 2 Do Don to 2 Daime contains a 70-song soundtrack which culls selections from the genres of J-Pop, Animation, Classical and Video Games. Some of the songs include:

» J-Pop: "Be Your Wings," "Linda Linda," and "Romantic Whim."
» Animation: "Lets! Fresh Pretty Cure! ~Hybrid ver.~" and "Dragon Soul."
» Video Game: "Dragon Quest IX" and "Hello!" from IdolMaster
» Classical: Beethooven's "Symphony No. 5" and "Carmen."

Players can also enjoy "Baroque Hoedown" which has a lively beat which jibes well with the maniacal characters and frantic action. New features in the game include boss battles and cameo appearances by the Drackys and Slimes from Dragon Quest and the girls from Idolmaster who represent their respective songs. Note: the regular version does not include the wireless Taiko drum controllers but the game's perfectly playable with the standard Wii Remote (Press "1" for the red cue and press "2" for the blue cue).
