After witnessing the success of Nintendo's Nou wo Kitaeru Otona no DS Training, Sega released Brain Trainer Portable for the PSP. The company followed up with another mind game collection earlier this year (January 17, 2008) with Touch de Zuno which contains an assortment of pattern recognition exercises, numerical sequence tasks, and even a mini-game that tests your ability to gauge the firing of a laser at the right time to hit moving objects.

NCS Game Notes
 »
A munchkin yells out "SEGA!" at the moment the game first appears on the screen.

» Touch de Zuno features pattern recognition exercises, repetitive memorization exercises that involve patterns, and other mind bending puzzle mini-games which feature animals and whimsical musical snippets.

» A sequential number game asks that the player tap numbers in sequence which are arranged on a playfield and held within circles. As the difficulty ramps up, up to 30 numbers are scrambled around the screen and your job is to tap on them in order starting at 1.

 »
After each set of exercises, your proficiency is measured. There are also virtual coffee breaks as well to take a breather from the mind benders.

» In one game, numbers, fruits or vehicles, are shot out of four cannons and your job is to then tap on the numbers, fruits, or vehicles on a keypad in the order that they were shot. As you go higher, the velocity of the number projectiles increase.

» The exercises are in Japanese but examples and objectives are shown before each task so that you have an inkling of what to do.

» In one of the trickier games, some objects move up and down on lines. You'll have to tap on laser-wielding animals on the side of the screen so that they blast away at the objects. The goal is to time it correctly so that the laser blast destroys the object(s).

» In another game cakes are on screen and ravenous rats are attacking it. Your job is to tap on the rats to get rid of them before they reduce the cakes to crumbs.
