«©NCSX» In the year 986, Queen Agatha and her secret lover Cardinal Ladorak kill the King of Natra. Agatha puts Prince Franz on the throne and charges Ladorak with the duties of Premier. With the key positions of the kingdom locked, the trio enforce the order of the land with a powerful force of knights. All opposition is destroyed and the game begins with the knights making an example of a helpless village.
From this inauspicious beginning, the player takes control of a young peasant boy named Joshua who rises up from humble beginnings to topple an evil empire.
Konami reprises the Vandal Hearts franchise with another tactical action adventure where an intrepid party goes on missions and battles against cadres of foes. Use swords, magic, traps, and more to gain the upper hand against bands of roving vandals and others.
