X360 Ketsui Kizuna Jigoku Tachi Extra Delayed
The release date for the Xbox 360 version of Ketsui Kizuna Jigoku Tachi has been updated last night from May 28, 2009 to a status of "TO BE ANNOUNCED." NCS' preorders are being kept on file and we'll post some more news when the new ship date is announced by the publisher.
NCS Preorder Synopsis
«©NCSX» The Japanese Xbox 360 continues to solidify its position as the de facto console of choice for shoot 'em up fans and adherents with yet another upcoming release. This time, it's Kizuna Jigoku Tachi Extra from 5pb which is scheduled to ship on (TO BE ANNOUNCED which is delayed from the original release date of May 28, 2009).
The game starts off with the player's ship being towed into battle by a larger plane. Once the tether is broken, the ship hurtles ahead and into the thick of an incoming enemy assault. Tanks attack from the ground and jets swoop in from all sides as the player's ship flies deeper into enemy territory. The shots get pretty thick but are manageable if you're able to map them and twitch through them accordingly. The first mid-level boss is a chubby helicopter which sprays out a latticework of shots that move vertically and horizontally for added challenge.
Preorders for the Japanese Xbox 360 import Ketsui: Kizuna Jigoku Tachi: Extra are welcome to ship on (TO BE ANNOUNCED which is delayed from the original release date of May 28, 2009) at JPY6800 or US$70.90 from NCS and the first printing will include a bonus "Ketsui Capture Guidebook" in 1:1 ratio.
Region Lock-out
Please note Japanese Xbox 360 games will not boot on
USA or European Xbox 360 consoles due to the inherent region-lockout on Japanese X360 game discs.

Console Ketsui - It Finally happens

Well this game has never been emulated nor ported. After long last it finally gets a 360 port. Given that the 360 is THE defacto console for SHMUPS. many hard-core shmup fans will gripe about this and that like they did with dodonpachi Daijou black label Extra but you cant knock it. Its finally hitting A console finally. Maybe it'll make that PCB Jamma version much more affordable once this port comes out. Very highly anticipated as the only way to play this was in a arcade or a rich friend who had the Jamma in their own house. A MUST BUY!
